FAQs
HAVE A QUESTION?
What all can I use the LILAS pain relief patch for?
Menstrual cramps, pelvic pain, front, back, legs, breasts - you can use them wherever you need to; all day, or all night - or both! All you need to do is place it directly onto your skin and the natural adhesive will do it’s work for up to 12 hours, so you can tackle your day (or night)!
Will the patch help with my pelvic pain if I have Endometriosis/ PCOS/ Fibroids/ Polyps/ IBS?
Absolutely! We have received feedback from lots of women that our patches has been a lifesaver during severe cramps.
What will I feel when I use the patch? Is the patch heating or cooling?
Most people describe it a tingling, cooling sensation for the first 30 minutes when you apply the patch; subsiding to a continuous release over a 12 hour period.
How do I remove the pain relief patch?
Gently hold the skin and peel if off slowly. The adhesion usually wears off around 12 hours so it is easiest to remove then. Make sure you are removing the patch in the direction of hair growth to prevent the patch from pulling on any hair and causing discomfort. Using warm water can also help with removal- it loosens the strong, sticky adhesive that is made to last for up to 12 hours.
Are the patches vegan?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on the fact that our patches are registered with the Vegan Society; being completely cruelty-free with no nasty-animal derived ingredients.
Do the patches come in other colors?
Our Patches are beige because this is the color of the natural plant fibers we use to create them, with zero additional nasties such as artificial colors or chemical-filled dyes. We're working on making them the LILAS lilac color (or maybe transparent) but so far we have not found anything natural that keeps the efficacy of our patches intact! As we say though, we're working on it so watch this space!
Can I wear multiple patches at a time?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to wear multiple patches simultaneously (across the same or different parts of the body) as well as wear another patch immediately after removing one. We recommend applying the patches directly on your skin to cover the pain affected area.
We have found that many of our customers wear two patches on their lower abdomen or lower back to adequately cover the pain affected area. Our patches are completely natural and 100% plant-based making them safe to wear them continuously.
